From film to fitness, music to mentorship – this year’s Kuumba Fest has something for everyone. Explore the African Market Place, enjoy a youth theater performance, get active with a community obstacle course, and witness incredible Black talent at our dance showcase and finale concert.

Night of Positive Images

This year’s Kuumba Fest “Night of Positive Images” features the screening of Travis Stocking's powerful film “Generations” followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker and featured artists. Mr. Stocking has been a long-time mentor to Kuumba Kids for over three decades, teaching fitness and boxing. His partnership with Kuumba Fest continues as we celebrate his creative vision and community impact.
