We welcome various types of vendors. When applying to become a vendor at this year’s  Kuumba Fest please be prepared to provide us with detailed information on your company and the products you will be selling. We do not allow any illegal, pornographic, drug paraphernalia, racist or offensive material.

2023 TASTE OF SOUL INFORMATION

The Taste of Soul competition is an opportunity for restaurants, chefs, and caterers of the African and Black culture community to display their talent.  Whether you have Haitian, Caribbean, Southern Style, Ethiopian, African, BBQ, or Somalian food this event allows you to showcase your food to thousands of potential new customers.  We offer you the opportunity to bring your food to the people.  Advertise who you are, what you serve, and get the word out you are here in San Diego.

We offer 3 types of vendor booth space…Products/Hard Good VendorHot/Cold Food VendorNot for Profit, Info Only Select your appropriate vendor category, fill out the application and complete the payment process to reserve your vendor space.

Vending space includes a 10 x 10 space. Please provide your own tables, chairs, and pop-up canopies. Provide all items necessary for maintaining healthy heating/cooling temperatures for all food. Provide all necessary paper goods, utensils necessary. All health and safety standards are strictly enforced. Must provide a food handlers license. Use of a generator as needed will be provided.
